Three tiers, one straightforward process
When you look for a hotel through OnTravel, our team starts with the right question: what do you actually need from the stay — a clean room in a good location, dependable comfort for work or a family holiday, or a high-level experience with full service? That is what determines the tier we search within, not the other way round. We check availability directly with the hotel or our partner and confirm the booking only once we are certain it matches what you are looking for.
Budget options
For travellers who want to spend their time outside the room, exploring the city rather than sitting in the hotel, we find simple, clean, well-located stays, often close to public transport or the historic centre. These are common choices among younger travellers, backpackers, or anyone who simply does not see the hotel as the centrepiece of the trip.
3 to 5-star hotels
This is the tier most requested by families and business travellers: comfortable rooms, breakfast often included, and reception staff who speak foreign languages. Within this tier the range is wide, from a modest 3-star property to a 5-star one with a pool and a genuinely good restaurant, and we help you find the exact point that suits you, based on location, amenities and the atmosphere you are after.
The luxury tier
For special stays, such as a honeymoon, a significant anniversary, or simply the wish for something memorable, we work with properties offering personalised service, spacious suites, spa facilities and high-level kitchens. Here the process becomes even more tailored: we speak directly with the hotel about specific requests, from a room with a view to a small in-room celebration.
International chains or independent properties
Some clients prefer the familiarity of an international chain they already know, others want an independent property with local character: a riad in Marrakech or a small family-run guesthouse in Sarandë. We work with both categories and help you decide based on what you actually want from the stay. For families travelling with children, we also coordinate requests such as connecting rooms or an extra bed, communicating them directly with the hotel ahead of arrival.
